When we think of New Zealand, what comes to mind is the stunning farmland, sprawling landscape, iconic movie scenes, cattle and sheep. Our team have been investigating A&P Shows around New Zealand (NZ). With so many amazing industry events, field days and expos, we thought we’d share this awesome resource!
Over the years we’ve learnt that New Zealand agriculture has so much to offer and always provides us with an opportunity to gain new insight into an important industry. I mean what don’t New Zealand farmers do; horticulture, grains, fruit and vegetables, wine, livestock (sheep, lamb, beef cattle, pig), poultry, beekeeping, aquaculture and dairy - just a few things to keep you busy.

Where: Levin Showgrounds, Levin, New Zealand
About: Taking place at the Levin Showgrounds, an hour away from Wellington, the 2024 Show has something for everyone. Whether you're into sheep and cattle, horse riding, home businesses, wood chopping, shearing, trades, or rides.

About: Featuring a wide variety of activities, trade stalls, and animals. Gore A&P Show is one of the biggest one-day shows in New Zealand, offering plenty to explore and enjoy.

About: With over 700+ exhibitors, the newest rural technology, equipment, and ideas from around the world will be on display for three days in Southland.

About: The NZ Dairy Expo in Matamata focuses on dairy industry needs. Last year, about 2,500 farmers visited. The aim is to make a space where exhibitors can interact with farmers looking to make smart choices and investments.

Malvern Agricultural & Pastoral Association

South Island Agricultural Field Days

About: Over 74 years, the South Island Agricultural Field Days (SIAFD) has given agricultural businesses a chance to show off the newest and best equipment, tech, and services.

About: The Mackenzie A&P Highland Show is the biggest one-day event in New Zealand, with more than 12,000 people attending. It's focus is showcasing agricultural, pastoral, horticultural, stock-raising and forestry resources in the South Canterbury Region
