Ensure all your Inventory Maintenance is kept up to date by adding a maintenance record each time you service/maintain your inventory items.
Before you start
- You will need to Add an Inventory item
On Desktop
- In the left side menu, select Inventory > Machinery and Equipment / Structures / Tools then select the relevant item by clicking on it.
- Navigate to the Maintenance tab and click Add Maintenance.
- If there is maintenance already scheduled for this item a pop up will appear advising when it is due and ask if you are completing this scheduled maintenance now.
- Complete the form as required and click Save.
- A pop up will appear asking if you'd like to schedule your next maintenance for that inventory item.
If you select Yes you will have the option to schedule when, and note the purpose of that maintenance.
- Fill in the details of your next maintenance and click Save.
NOTE: If you schedule by Date you will receive a system generated reminder task 30 days prior to the scheduled maintenance date. If you schedule by Engine hours or Kilometers, you will be required to input when the next maintenance is due and at what point you would like a task reminder to be generated.
On App
- From the main menu, select Inventory > Machinery / Structures / Tools then tap on the inventory item or scan the item’s QR Code.
- Tap Add Maintenance.
- If there is maintenance already scheduled for this item, a pop up will appear advising when it is due and ask if you are completing this scheduled maintenance now.
- Complete the maintenance form as required and click Save.
- A record will be created in the Maintenance Log and a pop up will appear asking if you would like to schedule the next maintenance for that item.
- If you select Yes you will have the option to schedule when, and note the purpose of that maintenance.
- Fill in the details of your next maintenance and click Save.
